WTB: Lumintop Tool AA 2.0 driver [Withdrawn]

So… This is a long shot, but I’ll put it out here anyway. While trying to do an emitter swap in my white Tool AA 2.0 tonight, I destroyed the driver. Shoulda thought to see if it was reverse threaded before I really cranked on it. Well, it is reverse threaded and now my driver is destroyed.

Anyone have a spare driver?

UPDATE: Lumintop support responded to my request that I sent to support@lumintop.com, it took less than a day for them to respond. They offered me a fair price on a new driver and will be sending it out shortly. Way to go, Lumintop! :+1:

Worst case, reach out to Lumintop - abbie@lumintop.com. I spoke with Victor there, and he was able to help me get a driver for an FW3A and a GT Mini.

Awesome news. I’ve got a dead tool AA too. Couldn’t find a suitable replacement driver for it.

I kinda wish there was a parts request form somewhere so we didn’t have to hassle someone via email, or an AliExpress sub-store specifically for parts…

I believe that Lumintop will be responsive to that!
Another member had an issue with the reverse threading as well, and contacted them, and got what he needed to put the light back to work again :wink:

Lexel has a 15mm Bistro driver if you are willing to give up AA cells. I think I’m gonna go that way….

I’m getting a replacement too! So happy. The pill is short so my spare drivers wouldn’t fit.

I got my driver! It was a tad small so I needed to crimp the pill a touch (V1 light) but it works! Love the modes, not the mode memory.

In any case. Great service from Lumintop so I don’t have to trash this nice host!
