No, mine would be chrome painted plastic (if he wants SMO), or Metallic painted plastic (if he wants OP effect). It’s a good budget option for DIY. Of course metal is better, but the extra work is extra cost too I imagine.
These hold their shape up to 155°F. And I am good at modelling.

These guys make custom reflectors but they might be expensive.
