I bought many flashlights from Sofirn. One was defective, Sofirn immediately sent a new one. Purchased on Aliexpress. I love the Sofirn brand. Cheap and quality flashlights. Direct purchase has one drawback. You buy directly from the manufacturer, so you have no buyer protection. He is not an independent judge to decide your dispute. The Aliexpress Dispute Center works well. I had about 6 disputes, I won them all. To buy directly from Sofirn, he would have to offer a significantly better price than on Aliexpress.

Buy directly from sofirnlight.com is a another choice for customers. You are protected by platform where you purchased from. But on sofirnlight.com you are also protected by PayPal if anything wrong happen. Most importantly, most orders on sofirnlight.com will be from sofirn fans. I don’t think sofirn will ruin the reputation among fans.

So, I think it the same to buy on sofirnlight.com and other platforms. You can choose which one you like.

Fans know that sofirn offer good products at great prices which means the profits rate is low.

sofirnlight.com will offer almost the same price as on aliexpress, but will send some discounted codes regularly which will be started in 2020.

Thank you for all your support!

Purchased a holster from sofirnlight.com. Took only 8 days between paying and arriving in Netherland Thumbs Up

You are a flashaholic if you are forced to come out of the closet, to make room for more flashlights.

Great news about the 18350 tube offering.
Any chance a magnetic tailcap could be sold separately. Either alone or bundled with the 18350 tube?
Thanks

Yeah, it may be someone forgot to update the description. That’s the old SF13 number.

I am very curious what the differences are between first and second SF13.
Is it a different LED? Different driver?

I ask because I modify 2AA lights for older neighbors —- always replacing the LED with a high color rendering LED or an amber LED for pedestrian safety.

So I can get the older SF13 online several dollars cheaper — if the only difference is the LED.

Oh, and that’s why PLEASE NO GLUE.

Aw, SP10S sold out. It was well spoken of in a Reddit thread, as having better color rendering than the SF13.

And a thread here suggests possibly making a BLF version: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/66910

I ordered a Q8 diffuser the first day the site was mentioned here on BLF. With the $2 off coupon it was $.99 shipped. It turned out to be not in stock, but I got notified it was shipped today, so that item is in stock now. I plan to modify the diffuser with a cone reflector on the inside to give my Q8 the ability to act like an LT1.

I received my Q8 diffuser, installed a cone of aluminum foil inside the diffuser. Now I have a decent replica of the LT1. Only CW tint, no bail handle or battery charging, but in a pinch I’ll have a second lantern type light at my disposal. Yes, I have used the Q8 in ceiling bounce, the reflector/diffuser setup is much more effective at spreading light around a room.

Hello Sofirn,

i saw the addition of various LED choices for the C8F, that is great news. May I suggest that beside domed LEDs you would also add triple XPL-HI in neutral white 5000K or triple SST20 4000K 95CRI? Or at least the possibility to order the triple MCPCB with these LEDs (XPL HI or SST20) already reflowed? Thanks!

Thank you for telling these. But now we only sell C8F with leds we have in stock. we don’t have XPL HI 5000K. We have SST20 4000K, I will upload that.

Earlier today I purchased three flashlights, some 18650 and 21700 batteries on Sofirnlight dot com. One of the torches I bought is a C8F LH351D 5000K 90CRI, It was an amazing deal, all those items for $90.

But now I see the post above regarding the C8F only being available in SST20 4000K. I don’t want it in SST20 4000K.

My Future's So Bright...well, my flashlights are anyways.

Why does the prototype of the LT1 cost more than the black production LT1?

I really like the gold color, maybe it could be a bit less brown. If the BLF LT1 will come in this color I will buy one.

Hi, thank you for asking. Because the color is not standard color. Other color version will be available in late Februrary. Thank you for your patience.

I saw the new emitters on your website. Could you please add some more stock than just five LH351D 5000K and one XHP50.2 3V 5000K?

Could you maybe tell me the part number of the XHP50.2 3V 5000K or post the shipping label?

I would love to get some 5000K XHP50.2 in 3V.

I like the neon green prototype and ordered one Big Smile
But I might need another one if it’s another tint of green. Or orange. Or red. Or…..

I tried buying 10 LH351D’s earlier, it knocked me down to 5. They must’ve found more stock!
