Hi Guys, looking to try building a few lights this winter and am wondering if there’s anywhere to source a Solarforce L2M Host (failing that whats an equivelent host price/quality wise) would love options for both 18650/18350 batts…

I also have 4 L2Ps and 2 L2Xs but I’m keeping those!
Style is different but format is the same, Lumens Factory Seraph. I have two and they are very high quality.
I have not tried these but they seem like they may be worth a shot. No 18350 tube that I know of though.

Also ive had one of those mantaray lights, they arrent actually p60, the drop ins they use are threaded at the base, and thread in, it wont fit any standard p60 stuff

Hmm. That’s interesting I hope I haven’t misled anyone. It does seem like they take regular p60 drop ins.
I wonder if they were changed at some point. Which model number do/did you have? The P60 drop-ins look pretty standard too.

The one i have has fins at the base of the head, there were 2 mantaray lights posted, one with fins one without.
I know, not Solar Force and not L2m but a decent project P60 light.
One of my old P60 hosts that I really like… I did not get around to posting in the mod thread with this one. But it is a Sky Ray that had a horrible low current switch and even worse dropin. This was one of those lights that I always figured I would get around to doing something with, but never took the time. I have always loved the futuristic design of this light.
The final version… XP-L Hi 5A2 solid copper triple, spring bypass on a Fet+1+6 driver that I built, new high current switch board, Omten 1288 and spring bypass in the tail. The XP-L Hi in 5A2 or 5A3 are about the only ones that I think have a decent tint. I have had good luck finding the leds over time and stocked up on them. BTW, you will notice the copper tape on the side of the dropin.
