Good source for 20mm 4-5A driver?

Mtnelectronics is out of line of their drivers in this range. Anyone seen a good driver for this limited range?

what voltage ?

Ah yes, 3v

best one is probably the Convoy driver there is not much available in 20mm you can add a little resistance to drop it to 5A

thanks!

Don’t add ‘some resistance’.
This is a constant current regulated driver.
You can either get the 5 Ampere version https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33007449093.html, but it’s only in 17mm,
or you can change the R010 on the 17mm or 20mm 6 Ampere version into R015 (stack 2x R030 if you have those)
You can find adapter rings from 17 to 20 mm on Kaidomain.

^ better option ^

Have you got a link to the 6A 17mm version? , thought they only went upto 5A

Are those adapter rings threaded? They appear smooth like for a press fit

The idea is to solder the ring on the driver and then place it like you would a 20mm driver.
This depends on the light, of course, but usually there’s a retainer ring.

I thought it was a pure FET driver. I guess I'm only looking for 7135s.

Do you know which level runs at 100% regulated? 3%?

Nevermind. I messaged Simon and he confirmed all modes are regulated.

I’ve never used one, but I’ve been planning to use this for an upcoming L2 build: https://led4power.com/product/ld-a4-20-2-12amp-20mm-constant-current-led-flashlight-driver/

Any thoughts?
