22mm driver options

Hi all,

I want to replace the driver in my Convoy S12 to give it a bit more of a kick, but the options seem very thin on the ground. The only one I can find is from MTN Electronics which will cost too much including shipping to the UK.

The driver shelf is very thin and I think a 20mm driver would just fall through.

Any other options that I’m missing?

You could slap a R020 on top of the R010 and get a bit more current from the stock driver.
That should theoretically give you 9 Amperes, 3 Amperes for each SST-20
If you have Nichia in it, i wouldn’t do it though, but they’ll survive too.
