EC01 muggle mode keeps quickly stepping down to low

I have a EC01 that keeps stepping down to low very fast in muggle mode only, while the flashlight is cold.

I was wondering if this is a hardware bug, or a firmware bug that can be solved by flashing a fixed firmware ?

It is a firmware bug, the first batches of FW3A behave the same way.

Muggle mode is too careful regarding temperature.

If you calibrate your light to a higher temperature you might get better behavior from muggle mode.

I don’t think there is an updated firmware to flash.
Unless a firmware from another anduril light is suitable? or you can merge/change the code yourself.

Sadly, Toykeeper (the creator of Anduril) was not involved in the production of this light.

I went to calibrate the temperature, it was way off, like 20° over actual temp, after calibration it seems the problem is gone.

Edit: The problem came back even with good calibration… :weary:

It was written in some Anduril Lights Manuel. Muggle Mode step down is a sign of Temperature outta calibration.

Not sure how it was done, set, or written… Maybe it was set or programmed for safety or whatsoever reasons. ALL my Anduril Lights came with temperature calibration way off. Including my latest K1.
