Anyone know where to get a Nichia 219 Fireflies Rot66 still?

I know the Nichia 219C has been discontinued (pretty sure) – but rather recently Fireflies had this in their Rot66… I’m just wondering if anyone knows anywhere that may still have that in stock or any place to get one; it’s off their site, as well…

Fireflies had the 219b SW45K in the ROT66 Gen2 recently. The only place to get one that I know of is Vihn at Skylumen.com. He’s a great modder/ builder

I appreciate that — I’ll send him a message, hopefully that’s appropriate to do. Smile (Doesn’t seem to be on his site…)

I also know that an Acebeam x80-CRI with 219Cs in the ‘ring’ (vs the current ‘red’ offering) existed for a while… Did that just dry up as well?

The Fireflies ROT 66 used 219b sw45k. This is the one that everyone liked. The 219c is the current Nichia 219 offering, but its not as well liked by most people.

Ok – Got it. Was just reading up on the 219B sw45k… unfortunately looks like those are gone though. Will be looking in the used market, I guess!

Transaction halfway complete. That’s what happens when you get a lot of people in one place. You find what you need.

And, received the light today – works great, and I think that makes it around 48 hours from ship to receipt.

The tint and color rendering on the 219b beam really is something else… kinda reveals colors on things you’ve never seen.

I will say that everything went smoothly and certainly a positive point for any future transactions, should they happen!

The problem with the 219b is that once you have it, everything else (except the E21a, E17a, and Optisoles by Clemence) looks like crap.

I’m converting my entire collection to 219b or Clemence’s quadrix setups with the exception of a few throwers.

Just be aware I guess that two BG flashlight orders I placed on 1/25 haven’t moved at all due to the whole coronavirus situation. Jacky at Fireflies said that things should start moving again (but not before) Feb. 10.
