i mean the spring assembly on the tailcap. i need to get it out. i just dont know if its glued on or threaded…
I believe it is glued on. Mine already fell loose without me wanting it to.

There are reports that it is firmly glued. Heat should help soften the glue. Don’t overdo it though, because there has also been at least one report that the spring has detached (probably by pulling on it when the solder was softened by the heat).
How are you going to anodize the Ti tailcap?
already done anodizing for now with batteries… will do again when my power supply arrives… didnt disassemble the tailcap as i dont have the same glue used… not sure if epoxy will work.
