Can you adjust button brightness on Q8?

Can you adjust the button brightness on the Sofirn or BLF Q8? Not the Anduril version?

Not with the UI. You can replace leds for less bright color or find a rubber cap that lets less light threw.

You can only disable it on NarsilM version. One thing not mentioned in the manual is, hold to ramp up and release and click once. This turns off the light and the switch light

Boo! I was hoping that green button could be dimmed like the Anduril versions. Boo!

I also find the button too bright. The software disable only works until the next time you turn it back on. I thought it came with an extra darker switch boot. Will have to dig out my box.

They’re two smd resistors on the switch pcb that limits the current which limits the brightness.
You can change those two for something higher to lower the brightness. I believe I used 100k.
You can buy a few values to adjust to your liking.

You don’t need to do anything with the driver. You undo the ring holding the switch and can access it all from the outside. When you undo the ring and take the rubber cover off you see this. [image] You can use tweezers or a hook tool to pull it further out if you need to.
