I was working on something with him too and he did the same thing with me. Ended up not buying anything, He sold it out from under me. I don’t see how he thinks that this is ok. Honestly I was a little upset.

I think that there’s some welcomed clarity in this thread for people who might not be knowledgeable in buying/selling on Internet forums and perhaps this forum in particular.
On other forums, an ‘I’ll take it’ is viewed as a binding offer to purchase, as long as the seller’s terms aren’t altered. Other forums need both the buyer and seller to agree, otherwise the sale isn’t consummated.
If you just want to lock it, that might work since there is only one item left of many and not a hassle for the OP to make a new ad for the Pineapple.
