I own several of the Sofirn SP33s and the version #2 (or latest version #3) are pretty slick for the money. Funny, I also bought the batteries first… then as a “flashoholic” I had to buy the lights so I could use them :stuck_out_tongue:

The latest version (V3) is a step up in it highest brightness compared to the V2 light. But after the “wow factor” wears away, either are both decent in throw and have wider beams. The V2 is cheaper and is said to run more efficiently at medium brightness levels (what I usually use and suspect most do).

At the Sofirn.com Store last I saw… the V2 was about $22 shipped on the slow boat to the US 48. The V3 is closer to $30. Both these are without batteries BTW. I have MANY Sofirn lights- just damn good “bang for the buck” for about anything they sell. But I am sure there are others out there I don’t own… yet :sunglasses:

Thanks guys, going to try the sp33. Couldn’t find the wk? Had a imalent light go bad, so have a unused cell.

It should be Wurkkos WK30, I believe :wink:
The “main” brand/manufacturer is Sofirn, but the flashlight is Wurkkos branded :+1:
