Help request

Hello everyone, I need some help navigating deals and the correct light. My mom wants a light that will light up the whole back yard and let her see all the way to the back of her property about 150ft length and 100ft wide. I’m assuming I’ll have to pick between flood light and spotlight/search light. The use is very limited it only has to work for a minute or 2 I’ve read some turbos only last 20s I might consider those if they help stay in budget. If they can charge with micro or c USB better to avoid more expenses on battery chargers. The light budget taking into account deals , it’s not urgent so I could wait, is max $60 but preferably I would like 4 for $15 each one for myself and multiple backups. I prefer buying from banggood but anywhere else is fine too. I would have to buy batteries and chargers not sure about prices on those. It the lower the better . These are rare use type of lights so not sure if just popping in a couple as Duracell a would be fine too. Bonus points if they can be reused as low consumption for emergency scenarios like earthquakes . Again thanks everyone in advance. I wouldn’t mind buying used and I’m willing to delve into some diy if it will help with the budget.

Tldr
Flood or search light for 150 ft deep and 100 wide property . Diy used ok. Budget 60 for 1 but prefer 4 at 15 each. Variations in specs is ok if it helps with budget . For example 100 ft deep 20 feet wide.

My limited search brought me to the gt mini , ec03, ft03, q8, sp36, m3

150feet isn’t really a challenge for most modern LED’s

I would check out the Sofirn’s SC31B (single emitter 15$) and the SP36 BLF 5k (around 50)
Both have on board charging sc31 -micro, sp36 -usb c

The EC03 is good too but its a hot rod, FT03 is a long range thrower

I own almost every light Sofirn sells… they are all good to great lights! They just released a 10% off deal at their sofirnlight.com site.

If it’s one light, the Q8 is literally the size of a Coke can and is heavy, while the SP36 is better for mom’s hands in most cases and lighter weight. I’d get the BLF Anduril version of the SP36 in the 5k tint as suggested above. You will see 800+ ft. away with either of those lights :stuck_out_tongue:

You can also get a pair of C8A or C8G lights with batteries and chargers for at or under $50 shipped. They are both excellent long throwing lights with decent spill (flood), they are lighter weight and a pair gives you back-up options. Batteries are decent too, especially the 21700 that comes with the C8G.

If you need wider flood, the SP33 “new version” they call it, is actually an older version (not the V3) with a good older driver that will run all night at 900 lumens after holding turbo well too. The kit with a VERY good battery and charger is about $29, but after the 10% off a pair would run just over $50 shipped.

I have about an acre and ANY of the lights above DO work great WELL beyond my yard in any direction. For lightest weight, cheapest deal the C8A truly rocks. For throw the C8G gets out to about 1000 yards, but has the least amount of spill. My pick for a pair would be the SP33 though, it’s a great deal and the PLB batteries in the kit are top of the line. They throw great, have the most flood, and run brighter longer than a lot of the latest models. The (real) “new” (V3) has issues with regulation, but also a good light… just more mula’

Also, lately I’m getting stuff in 10 days vs. TWO months- they have a new shipper so a good time to buy from them!
