Recommend me a angled flashlight

Hi,

after using my manker aaa angled flashlight I now feel the need for a 18650 one.

I would like it to be simple construction with mod options if possible. not a big fan of busy designs and the buttom needs to be on the topp of the light. I would like a reflector, OP or SMO doesnt really matter.

Price doesnt matter.

ZebraLights are my favorite headlamp, but they’re not very moddable. I managed to get a 219B into an older AA-powered H51w, but doing that with a modern H6 series would be very difficult.

I recently got a Sofirn SP40 and am very pleased with it. It comes with an additional 18350 tube, a pocket clip, and a (removable) magnet in the tailcap. The headband and mount are decent, but the top strap cannot be removed without cutting it.

I was able to swap the LED within a few minutes. The bezel on mine was not glued. I left the reflector out to try a mule setup.

The LED board is held down by two screws, so it doesn’t rely on pressure from the reflector to keep it in place for proper heat transfer. The lens o-ring presses against the body of the light, so it doesn’t need the reflector to function properly either.

Hi

Newbies like me had to go look up what an angled flash light is, but may I ask what one would use an angled flashlight for?

What are the practical applications (I am a novice).

Thank you

Regards

They are primarily used as headlamps, but I carry one with a pocket clip as a work light.

I have a magnet inside the tailcap and one attached to the pocket clip which allows the light to be aimed in nearly any direction.

Here are my ZebraLights with magnets installed.

if you are going to work it either go Zebralight or Armytek. Otherwise, enjoy the hunt!

I love my Armytek Wizard Pro.

If you don’t mind a thrower. I like the WOWTAC A2S I got at Amazon a while back.
$30 with a good 3400mAh 18650 included.

I got the neutral white version.
It’s plenty bright.
No Pocket Clip if that matters.

But don’t know how easy it comes apart.
All the Best,
Jeff
