Will a Convoy S11 tube fit my Acebeam E10?

Hello wise forum.

I didn’t quite know where to post this so I hope here is fine.

I’ve recently bought an Acebeam e10 and am blown away by its performance as a thrower, I have been looking for a longer tube that will allow a 26650 battery to be used instead of the 26350 battery it was designed to use. In my search I stumbled across a reddit comment suggesting a Convoy S11 will work.

Can anyone here confirm this is the case? I’d like forum confirmation before pulling the trigger on buying something that may or may not work.

Any help is appreciated.

Not sure if the S11 fits but I just tried my Catapult V6 tube and it seems to mount and work okay with the e10. Not sure about water proofing though.

I’m primarily looking for info on the convoy because it can be bought cheap(ish) as a host. Trying to get away without spending much.

It physically fits, I just don’t know if it makes contact properly or not. I tested it out a while ago - I’ll be putting the driver back in my E10 when an order from China arrives (if it ever does….). So perhaps hold onto the idea - I’ll do my best to remember to update when the parts arrive.

Isn’t that all you need? Just need to grind away a bit of anodizing, or add a bit of solder?

Yeah, just more that my E10 driver is out waiting on some parts for mods, and I don’t really feel like putting it back in to test the tube, then back out for the mod.

Can you turn it on/off with the rear clicky?

It connects/disconnects the whole circuit by that; you still need to turn it on with the e-switch as normal.
