The majority of flashlights are black. Some brands (or models) have their 'own' color.
What would you answer if a seller asks you what color flashlight you want (1 color) if you could choose any color on the planet.

Blue, a darker shade from the above.
I don’t have a favourite. Sometimes I buy colours that are gorgeous or ones that I don’t have. But sometimes I don’t.
But recently I bought an Emisar in black though I’ve been satisfied with the blue and green I’ve had so far and I could pick something special.
I’ve always like the cyan offered in emisar/noctigon lineups.
I like this color especially in combination with silver.... (stainless steel / chrome)
I like the Noctigon Cyan as well
That pastel cyan looks nice on the new Noctigons, but if I had to choose for an arbitrary light, I’d take anthracite (some Jetbeams/OTRs have nice anthracite colors).
I prefer black, grey or dark silver lights. Alternatively clear from AL machining with lacquer.
A more unique approach would be to have a flashlight in the paint color of your personal car, but that is tricky to do I guess. Complex metallic paint probably difficult to put on a flashlight, but certainly possible.
Also like baked lights if they look cool.
I like different shades of blue and green.
(But I don't like every shade of blue or green.)
Purple.
Black is my favorite color.
I love the Cyan color on my Emisar D4SV2 but lately I like Olight’s Orange. Desert Tan is another color I like. Black is just to common and 95 percent of my torches are black. Astrolux Blue is nice as well.
I like those camouflage patterns some brands have introduced like
Wuben with their T70,
Klarus with their XT2CR,
Olight with their Warrior X Pro or
Fenix with their PD35 V2.
I like white a lot. But I really like the “somewhat GITD green white” just like the Pelican 3310ELS or the another white will be cream white.
I just wish the Tool AA white was either cream white or GITD white. It wasn’t as white as I expect it to be. More of a 80% opacity gray
Lotta nice colors out there. Jetbeam gray (like on the Jet-I and Jet-II) is nice. The deep blue, more like indigo, of the DV-S9 with the splash of red is pretty sharp. The slate-blue of the recent Skilhunt AAA is really nice. And I still like the Barbie Pink of the XTAR WK50, that was nice and satiny like granma candy.
Black is good.
but silver seems be more delicate.
Deep blue/violet/indigo like some old Maglites and emisar/convoy cyan if we’re talking rainbow-y colors - oh the Maglite red was damn good too.
Those are novelties though. For EDC I prefer:
Matte ‘Natural’/ FDE / Sand (but there are very particular shades )
Rich mostly-matte black
Machined Ti or Cu
Also, the E3A slate is a surprise to me how nice it looks.
I like orange / copper colors.
It is definitely Silver (Convoy Clear ano. /C8+/, Astrolux Silver /MF01S/) for me. Maybe also darker greys, but still with a metallic shine.
Anything other (with color): Emisar/Noctigon cyan, pale blue or green, dark olive green, Astrolux blue or green, silver with a dark brass tinted cast (this is not yet seen, but I’d love it).
