I own both the SOfirn Q8 & Sofirn SP70. Both are the 6500 color temp versions.
My SP70 does overpower the beam of the Q8 a bit, but it’s more “yellow” than my Q8.
Why is that when both are 6500 color temperature rated?
It’s still a pure white beam, but the Q8 remains white all over. The SP70 hot spot appears to be white, but just outside of the hotspot it gets less white, leaning a bit yellow.
Is that typical?
Yeh, lotta lights have a fried-egg beam, yellower hotspot and bluer spill, but the corona around the hotspot can be the most yellowish of all.
LEDs with the worst angular tint-shift have that. G3s worst of all (special place in Hell for those), most XHPs next, etc.
