Definitely not on my buying list, though. It's awkward in length, only 1 mode, and an oldish emitter. I do love the tailcap, though. See how deeply recessed the button is? That would definitely tailstand. I wish they would sell the tailcap separately. I'd like to buy one for my otherwise nice C3 SS 1xAA, which has about 0.5mm of protrusion of the switch boot that prevents it from tailstanding well.
I'd like to buy a couple of the SS extension tubes. Would let me use NiMH on the C3 stainless.
Oh my, looks like the mutant offspring of an Ultrafire C3 SS and a Trustfire F25 , i am tempted but my flashlight budget has taken a serious hit this month but perhaps i will treat myself for xmas :)
It does make it look a bit F25ish. Hadn't noticed that before. A bunch of green GITD rings round it and it would look like an F25 that had been at the "male enhancement" pills....
I only just now found this light, and I’m stoked. I wonder if it’s a thrower, or a flooder though. I have to have it either way.
I only wish it had a forward clicky to get the most out of that wonderful one mode. I’ll probably leave it in 2 x AA mode all the time, so I don’t lose the extension tube, unless running 1 x 14500 is that much brighter.
The first? Is it the only Stainless 2 x AA light? I don’t think I’ve seen another. Now, all I need is a 1 x AA in Stainless, with a forward clicker - and one mode, high.

I have bunch of C3 SS XPE, will be good for having double AA config…

I use a 14500 and a dummy, nice and bright, and you keep your 2AA mode!
