and I paid $28.90 and you can look at the reflector and see that it's not a regular smooth one. I got a regular C8 when it finally showed up and I emailed Yuan and he said that he would send me the right one, this was back on 12/28/2011 and i have been emailing them ever since and he said he sent it. Today I got an email saying they want me to pay $8.00 shipping to receive a tracking # and they would send another one. I can not believe I have been going back and forth with them since I placed the order on 12/1 and got it on 12/28 and still to this day I don't have the light I ordered. WHAT WOULD YOU DO????
Second Order: I placed an order with Hank at IO for the 7G5 V2 on 1/31/2011 and it was shipped out on 2/1/2012 and it has been in New York since 2/10/2012 and it has not moved ......
Rick, if the seller of the C8 is letting you keep the first one, I'd go ahead and pay the $8 via PayPal. You can always dispute it if it doesn't show. The other one is stuck in customs (happens sometimes), give it some more time.
if he ship you another light and not only the reflector 8$ via paypal are ok..considering also that the light was not that deal imho, you will go in pair xD
about the 7G5 V2 i would w8 1/2 weeks, can also be slowed by customs and you have still time to open a paypal dispute ...but i'm not from the usa of america dunno how customs work there xD
I had flashlights stuck in customs for about 8 days before it moved on. If you see something like ISC NEW YORK NY (USPS) then it is with the customs. I know yours have been 10 days not but I am sure it will get through eventually. Seems like NY customs are the slowest of all the customs in the US. When my packages go through the customs at other locations, it only takes a day or two.
What gets me is that Yuan said they sent another one, where is it at then? I will pay the $8.00 I emailed them and asked how to pay it, they didn't send me a bill or anything....

I have contacted the ruling authorities on this issue of mail and packages being stuck at ISC New York Facility. The rule in USA is that they must process your package or letter in 20 days. This Facility is the largest on the east coast and they receive over 1mil items per day. Your item could be on a large container that holds over 100K items in it, and it may take 20 days. What you can do when the 20 is up? One , call the recording # 718-553-7392.Follow the instructions, leave you Registered confirm #. Secondly, you can call the facility # 1877-277-5511, but you will be put on hold for at least 20-30 minutes. Thirdly, go to your local post office and see the Post Master General, and tell Him your package or letter is missing or lost. They know what to do. If you need your letter or packaged to arrive sooner, sent it by FedEx. YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE! Unless there is something illegal or needs a permit attached to it, you will receive your package.
