Ive done a lot of reading and learning here over the last couple of weeks, so I thought I should join up and say Thank You!
It started a few weeks ago, when I bought a Surefire G3L to replace my five year old Streamlight TL1-led. When i tried it out, it wasn't any brighter than the Streamlight. I almost sent it back, but instead i did some Google-ing and then ordered a Lighthound Cree drop-in. OK, so now I'm happier with my Surefire.
Then i saw the Solar Force stuff at Lighthound, now i have a several new flashlights for less than i paid for the stupid Surefire that started this whole debacle...
Happy to hear that you've seen the light, so to speak! ;) Surefire builds an awesome light...for 10 years ago. You won't save any money hanging out here but you sure will have a lot more great lights than you would have otherwise. :)
