Just won this for a good price.

I bought a couple of those awhile back. The Citipower hosts are pretty solid, mine seem to be made pretty well (they are nearly identical to the WF-502b). The drivers in the drop ins both drove fairly high too. It's a great deal when you consider a drop in alone is usually a couple bucks more than that!

nice..looks a lot like a uf-502b

Yep, I compared them with some pics here.

I just got one for 13.50 so that was not too bad. Hopefully it will be a good light because if Brad recommends it it has to be good.

Looks like a nice light for the price. I have bought from that seller before. Good communication, but not able to give much refund on faulty batteries. (lesson learned, buy quality batteries!)

Also heard several people buy their products. But anyone have tailcap numbers on their XM-L models?

I bought a flashlight like this from them:

My first LED light actually. Just wanted a cheap zoomable light that could also take normal batteries when trying out 18650. (not using it much now tough)

Anyway. That light did not have memory. Every time you turned it on it went into next mode. Not a big deal, since you only have to press two fast small clicks to get to the one you might want. But still annoying. So i will never buy multiple mode lights without memory again.

Anyone know it the other Citipower XM-L lights have memory?

This also looks like a decent cheap XM-L light.. 10.45 + 3$ shipped! (edited this part, i did not read about the shipping cost first, so not that special offer)

I sent a message earlier today and asked if it had memory. Still waiting for answer....

And if they had a clue about how much Ampere it takes out of the batteries/tailcap numbers. (highly doubt I get the answer on this one)

I ordered the same light from the same supplier on the 16th, once I get it I'll measure the tailcap amperage. The problem is there is still no guarantee that each light will have the same drop in or driver. Ill update you when I get it though.

I think a 2.0A driver in this light is not a bad idea, due to its bad heatsinking. Anyway, I don't like the h-m-l-strobe-sos driver

I ordered this same light from these same people on Feb. 14. I ordered the X3, X5 and X7 version. I paid a couple bucks too much on an ebay auction for the X7 but I got the X3 and X5 for $11.51 shipped. I just checked and they arrived in LA on the 20th. The last thing the tracking says is Los Angeles ISC on the 20th. Does that mean they are being held up in customs?

Any idea what driver it actually is? I ordered a couple of KD 8X7135's last week and was waiting until I got them to take out the driver's shipped with these lights. I would be interested in modding them, might even throw a couple more 7135's on em (if that's what they use) to up the amperage.

Pretty amazing that an XM-L can be sold and shipped for only 2 or 3 bucks more that a Sipik clone.

Sorry for a taking this one back to the top but I got mine yesterday. Ordered it February 23 so I got it in 21 days which is OK considering free shipping and that I only paid $8.55. Great light for that price, really nice built and the sticker on the drop-in says UltraFire.

I draws about 2.2 amps on high and half that on medium, so maybe not the brightest drop-in but as mentioned above probably a good choice when it comes to heat. I has mode memory but sadly enough the 5 modes (H-M-L-S-S) that was listed.

Buy one.

tempting indeed.... My 2.75A MCE dropin just died, this is like getting the module and a host for free.
