Some quick and messy XM-L beamshots (and 1 XR-E) in the rain.

The buyer of my modded Small Sun aspheric requested some beamshots.

Not being able to wait out the weather, they were taken in the rain.

Distance is about 75 meters, or around 240 feet.

I was very impressed in the performance of the XM-L with the larger lens. With adequate coverage, the XM-L can become a great aspheric thrower.

Sorry for the paint-grade shots. I'll take some proper ones when things dry off a bit.

Spammer bump

I’m not into zooms right now, but I do like those shots in the rain.

Thanks, X! You’ve got me rethinking an xm-l in my c10. I had finally ruled it out in favor of an r2 but that xm-l looks great.

Thanks for making me even more anxious while waiting for parts to arrive :-P
