Nitecore Tiny Monster TM20

CBT-90!

Crazy....the only SST-90 lights i'd touch is this :

Notice the big aluminum heat exchanger?

Alright, this is also ok...definitely enough mass.

My point 2000 OTF lumens from XM-Ls, and 2000 OTF lumens from SST-90. Which is more efficient and generates more heat? They already have issues with the TM11 and took several revisions to correct it.

That varapower is, 1. sold out 2. appears to be driverless.

Yes, VPT SST-90 and VPT XM-L are direct drive. It's not really sold out, just have to wait. I wanted to get the XM-L Turbo last time, but it was a 4 weeks wait at least. The guy is swamped.

How much are they?

If I am not wrong it's about 260 bucks and 160 bucks for SST-90 and XM-L respectively. I am not from the USA so the shipping would sting a little as well. :)

I love it but it will be way too rich for me.

You see. For nearly the same price, you can get a NiteCore TM series that also has a driver!

That's not exactly the definition of tiny

I can't find any info on the TM15 or TM20 that are shown in the video anywhere. Where are you guys finding this info?

This would appear to be for the lux-crazy among us, as it would likely out throw the sister XML version. Thrower fiends rejoice !

The VPT XM-L is cheaper, and has about 130k cd fresh dropping to 110k. No fight. The SST-90 is 160k cd. Probably the TM20 has about 45k tops. (generous figure already). Unless they drive the TM20 hard, which is obviously gonna kill itself from the experience with the sister triple XM-L. (10 mins tops in COLD countries). It's actually quite easy to "calculate", just take the DRY triple XM-L doing 4 amps, from say 3.3A-4A there would be quite a bit more heat generated rather than light - heat signature of the SST-90 in such a small light.

Seriously, way different markets.

Throwers - On/Off switch, rejoice!

But i'll have to say, the TM15/20 looks a wee bit better (aggressive) than the TM11. More fins at the bezel.... I like it.

Ditto... nothing on Google.

Well, jojoselected is a well known flashaholic/seller who posts on youtube. So i guess it could be the "suggested" list on youtube.

OK, here is the info they give in the video: built in charger for both the TM 15 and the TM 20.

TM 15: deeper reflectors, bit harder driven than the TM 11 (2200 Lumen), available middle of this year.

TM 20: Emitter is Luminus CTP 90 driven to 2000 Lumen, "up to" 700 m throw, planned optional extra is a battery pack with 8 cells and longer tube (speculated to cost more than 450 €).

Not bad, I like big crazy emitters. But I was waiting for the DS 1, ES 1 and ES 2!

There is a Luminus CST-90 and CBT-90, with the CBT-90 being the de-domed version. Do you know which it may be?

Thanks !

Uhm... the guy holding the light says CTP-90, at least that's what I keep hearing. It's hard to understand with the background noise. Could well be CTB, and maybe the guy accidentally switched the letters. From the video I would say it's the de-domed one, I think once or twice it looks like the light gets reflected by the emitter as it would by a flat surface. Again, hard to say for sure.

Just had a look at the dta sheet, wow... 30 to 50 W from one LED, that's brutal!

Now that I watched the video again, he definitely says "CBT-90". That explains why the LED looked really strange.
