IMO, Great Customer Service

This is what I call good and/or great customer service. A while back I ordered two Keygos M12s from Go Market on Ebay. One was a combo with charger and two cells, and the other one was just plain. The single one cost me about $30.50 with free shipping. When the package came, it had both the item numbers on the package, and listed two torches. However, only one torch was in the package. I notified Go Market, and he gave me an apology and said he would ship me another one out right away. That was Feb 25th.

Down around March 15th, I notified Go Market that I have not recieved the replacement, and he quickly apologized again, and gave me a complete refund.

Today March 19th, the replacement M12 arrived. I contacted Go Market for instructions to give him his refund back. In addition, I gave him a big thank you on the way he handled this, and for giving me the benifit of the doubt.

The first mistake was clearly a shipping error. When the replacement didn't arrive, and even though he knew he had shipped a replacement, he gave me a refund. IMO, in this day and age, that is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

ceh

congratulations for being 1 in 1000 people that would actually tell them the second one arrived

if I were him i'd tell you to keep it

edit; still looking to sell?

thanks. i am no.2 in 2000 people then.

!!!

:p

I expect the probability among BLF'rs is much higher than among the general population!

I am sort of among them - ie, I tell them but if it were DX, the guilt would have to build for a few days

Thanks for posting. It's always useful to know about trustworthy Ebay sellers, and they deserve a bit more credit than they often get. Fair play to you.

Ha, the thought entered my mind. However, I am no saint, but I do have to face myself. And believe you me, and I am my toughest judge. Not only that, I try not to let people treat me better than I treat then. With that said again, I am no saint by a long shot!! Wink

I am looking at what another poster did with the M12. Think I am keeping these M12s. I might can find a mount to be able to mount two of them on a bike and might find a way to cut the zoom or make it workable on the bike.

The flashlight bug has bit me good!! Wink

To tell the truth, and I am a great believer in human nature, the count on the peeps is more than 2 in 2000, I would go out on a limb and say, 1800 of 2000 would do it!! Smile

Why do I say that? Because I have had a lot of favors sent my way in my lifetime. And most of the time, the peeps doing the favors tell me to "PASS THE FAVOR ON DOWN THE LINE".. I hope at least I am just halfway living up to that!!

you should keep them, its a good light. I'll be watching ebay for the sale prices to return :)

Props to you CEH for good character! Enjoy all the new lights.

Yeah, I just went back and checked on what I paid for the combo, M12,2x26650 cells+ Charger.. Was $50 and $30 for the single..

I am going to mount that so-called 1600 lum to a bike and see what gives. Also, I am pushing Hi Max 2600 cells now, so my runtimes should be better. Happy riding in the dark days are here!! Wink

Exactly four weeks ago I ordered one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5w-CREE-Led-300-Lumens-801-Flashlight-18650-Torch-Lamp-/150430431517?pt=US_Flashlights&hash=item23065a391d Still no sign of it so I emailed go_market, I'll update when/if they reply.
