http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=HHcHYisZFLU#!

Which light is he holding in his hand at 1:06 in the trailer?

My guess is something along these lines:

I'd guess a SureFire of some kind? They can be seen in various movies quite often.

Very likely to Be a surefire. You can tell this by the low output as they search the area around the 'face' statue. If they had a '2083' chinese made light the whole scene would be brighter than daylight.

Mr R Scott probably chose these due to them being supplied free and the output not ruining his scene lighting.

It is most definitely not a Surefire light.  I went to their site and compared every light they sell and they have nothing even close to matching.  Head design is all wrong and no tailcaps come close to matching unless Surefire cloned an Ultrafire model when commissioned by Ridley Scott to make a futuristic light just for the movie.

It is most likely this one in titanium finish...

The smoothly rounded, domed shape of the Chinese lights' reflector housings are a giveway, compared to SureFire's M3 combat light. Both, however, share the same hexagonal anti-roll ring between the reflector and the distinctive fins. The proportions of the head size and battery tube diameter are beautifully modulated on the MTE/ UltraFire; in contrast, the head of the SF M3 appears to be much wider than the battery tube. Also, the MTE/Ultrafire's four flatly machined sides on the battery tube can be seen clearly.

The film looks pretty cool. I'm gonna watch it in the movies!

I just discovered this movie yesterday. Apparently some kind of prequel to Alien (same director) and for that reason alone I'm convinced it's going to be great. AND the main actor is from Sweden to.
