UF-T150 finally arrives!

I ordered the UF-T50 exactly one month ago and it arrived today! It could have been worse I suppose
Chicago X has already done a fine review so I’ll just make a few first impressions since many seem to be interested in this light (for good reason).
It’s small, looks good and fits in the hand well. It’s nice to see a light with a side switch, nice knurling and a smooth bezel.
The magnet in the tail is strong. I wanted to remove it however. For anyone with a similar interest … it’s easy. It’s just like replacing a standard tail switch. All you need are small needlenose pliers.
The chrome plated magnet is nice. I was going to keep it around as a spacer for my battery charger but somehow I’ve lost it already
The beam is nice. It’s what I would consider just a standard XM-L in a small head type of beam. I like diffused beams since I like for the edge of the light to have a gradual drop-off rather than the sharp drop-off that you get without diffusion.
I used DC-fix and the bezel is not too hard (firm) to remove for that purpose either.
The ramping is rather fast and in my light also seems to be a little shaky while you are pressing the button but not otherwise.
This is close to the perfect light for me. If I could have only one of my flashlights it would be this one for sure.
I prefer the Zebralight type of UI to ramping and ramping is much better when there is a pause and a double flash when you reach the ramping limits.
That’s not a big deal however. I only have one P60 clone and that has now been moved from my desk to infrequent duty by the back door.
It does have memory and you can quickly reset it to high by turning it off, slightly untwisting the tail cap and then turning it back on. It doesn’t work the other way around however. If it’s off you can’t just untwist and twist the tail cap to reset it to high. Memory still works and that’s the level it will come on in.
It’s got a green glow-in-the-dark O-ring behind the lens for those that care.
It came in a padded envelope from Manafont but the light itself comes in an Ultrafire box so it’s well protected.
It’s so nice to pick up a small floody light with a long runtime (since it’s a 18650) and have your thumb naturally fall on the switch instead of the contortions required for “tactical” lights (I do like the momentary feature of those lights however).
Of course with daylight savings time I now have less need for a flashlight

Glad u finally got it, I got my from ric, much faster ,im curious was your smooth refector or op?

Mine is smooth.

Mine is smooth also. I love this light.

I had the telescope out tonight and decided to play around with the T50 as well (of course).
It’s bright! Low is still pretty bright and if this was my headlamp I would consider it not low enough but for a flashlight it’s not a big problem.
Now that I’ve played around with the ramping and especially when it’s dark and I can tell what it’s doing more easily it’s not too hard to control either.
I do now understand Chicago X’s comment about the button being a little hard to find.
If someone uses low more than high and really wanted it lower you can always diffuse it (as I’ve done) but use a heavier diffusive film. That would knock down the high and low a bit but it’s bright enough on high that that wouldn’t be much of an issue either.
I love the size. I wear REI outdoor pants a lot (nylon with regular and cargo pockets) and the light is small enough that I forget that it’s in my pocket.
The tint seems to be regular cool white and I don’t have a problem with it at all but since I have a pack of filters I may put one in there to warm it up a bit (or make it neutral).
There is enough excess brightness on high and low that any small reduction in light wouldn’t be a factor (for me).
I love the factor that it’s easy to get in there to manke any small user preference type of changes. The better a light gets usually the harder it is to open it up to make those changes.
I found the magnet I took out by the way  It was still stuck to a metal chair on my patio!
I can’t imagine any BLF user being disappointed with this light.
