It's very similar to my Jetbeam BC40 in size and form (except it's got 3 modes), but what the heck, I just pulled the trigger on this one. According to Foy, the other SHADOWS (which he reviewed) rate highly on the performance/fit/finish scale, so I thought I'd like to have one too. And I think it's MUCH nicer looking than the Jetbeam. Well, I hope this one be a winner.
I was just informed yesterday that my item was shipped . That means it should be in my hands (hopefully) in about 8-10 working days.
I will do a comparison between the TC300 and my BC40. Btw, I''m not very technically savvy so it'll just be a simple one, with maybe a few beamshot images. I'll leave the tech-heavy reviews to the experts.
30 minutes? I don't plan to run it flat-out for 30 minutes at a time. All this talk about CREE emitters lasting 50,000 hours I don't quite believe. I generally never run my lights for more than 10-15 minutes at full power.
I think 30' is minimun time when u really need lights. 10-15' is to short, just for see or show flashlight. My Balder BD-4 run 1h50' without hot, just a little warm
Hi. I got my Shadow TC300 yesterday. All I can say is, I'm very disappointed. I will be posting a mini-review of sorts (I'm not technically savvy) soon.
Bottom line is, don't waste your time on this flashlight (like I have done)
