I'm kinda liking that 980L clone. $23 isn't too bad, though I guess it's basically a C8 with a fancy bezel?
Plus, then, knowing me, I would probably want to get a better tint for the LED and a new driver. Then it becomes a $38 light, but still . . . brown.
You guys should have gotten it patented but then again that wouldn't have mattered in China. 
Most of the fun was in discovery: actually baking them, watching the change, seeing the result. I'm not sure I want anymore copper lights however.
Interesting that someone picked up on them and is offering them for sale.

The ultra-fire 980L is pretty nice ...just like the c-88 or the RL-168 ? the real ultrafires are nice .... no need for bad clones
