I hope this gives someone sitting on the fence about modding this light the courage and confidence they need to go ahead and modify their light.
It is now a truly useful flashlight and a scorcher compared to what it use to be.
As with all old lights like this(Anglehead), the switch is the worst part. This one works better that the anglehead when slid all the way forward, but the momentary does not make good contact all the time. My anglehead even when slid all the way forward flickers.
I have modified many angleheads, knock-off and original and they all do this. 
I need to figure out how to make it better.
