I'd start on the low-end (actually, I already have) - fauxtons and BLF-Delights. The Sipiks are great lights, they are the next step up and have their place, but you could have 4 or perhaps 5 BLF-Ds for the price of one Sipik. Besides barter, think of the friends and family who could use them.
First off I love the walking dead it shows an example of any society breakdown event, plus mad zombie kills. I also saw a show that said the CDC was so impressed with the series they added a Zombie scenario preparedness page.
