Absurdly powerful LED lightbar for offroad vehicle

@ bmcfiv: I'm very interested in hearing what you think of it.

Why not get one of those really cheap light bars and get a member mod it for you?

You need something like this, if u have the knowledge and right tools u can make one yourself. Although making it waterproof would be a challenge.

Do you want something like this?

surprisingly bright, see pics below… i haven’t mounted it yet, this was just an experiment. first two outside pics are with the golf cart standard headlights, the others are the bar. based on the purchase link i don’t know what kind of leds they installed. maybe i can that info then ask them to build a new one with improved leds, although this thing is pretty damn bright!

Since the Polaris isn’t a road going vehicle, swap the headlights to HID and get the 20” Onx6 at ~$700, you will be within budget and depending on the quality of the headlight reflectors should have close to 15,000lm.

I haven’t read it yet, and it may not be that helpful due to your location, but it might still be interesting. http://www.unsealed4x4.com.au/issue019/#23

Edit- Just saw that will34 suggested nearly the same thing!

ok, i have all the pics. honestly, AWESOME for the price.

build quality feels excellent, though only time will tell.
installation kit works for a stretch golf cart, wires etc all seem well constructed.
produces a massive amount of light… a multiple of standard car high beams.

i always want more… two additions / recommendations.

I want more throw, since my guess is this goes 200 yards or there abouts.
Can only install from base of bar. They could easily add mounts at the end of the bar which would have made installation easier.

golf cart lights

light bar same position

nice man, im gonna get one lol
