Hi wight. About 6-8 months ago there was a thread about a glued torch,mine is a Fandyfire,(hate that name ) K2,also known as Solarstorm something .Tailcap was glued as it has a side electronic switch,but I wanted it off so I dunked it in boiling water for about(IIRC)60 to 120 seconds.A rubber glove undid it.
Somebody asked me how I did it,and they never succeeded with just hot water,there are at least 3 strengths of thread lock.The upshot was that this product was mentioned and when I saw it ,added it to the armory.
So,the answer is ,no,I have not yet taken the seal off the cap and opened the bottle,but the day I need it ,it will surely save a medium expensive(I don’t do mega expensive lights)torch from a horrible mangling in the jaws of something less sophisticated. 8)
In all honesty,I can not recommend or say avoid.Google is your friend.
