Comparing the manufacturer listed specs of the Folomov EDC C2 vs the Folomov Pen L1.
Both use Nichia E21A LED (CRI98)

brightness: C2: max 400 lumens vs L1: max 355 lumens
beam distance: C2: 157 meters (6190 cd) vs L1: 62 meters (951 cd) (C2 has a bigger head and is more throwy)
dimensions: C2: 18.5 x 54.4mm vs L1: 14mm x 114mm (L1 is twice as long but slightly slimmer)

Now the C2 uses a 14300 battery whereas the L1 uses a 10900 battery.
Battery capacity does not seem to be listed in the specs, but based on some review, the 14300 (surmised to be a 14250 w/ added length for charging circuit) is labeled 250mAh.
Normal 10440 batteries usually have something like 250-320mAh capacity, so I suspect the 10900 may have nearly double that capacity?

I found just one more flashlight using 10900 battery - Scribe DF.

Battery specifications are also not listed.

That’s what I would expect, but the output and runtime specs for the EDC C1 with a 10440 and a Pen L1 with a 10900 are exactly the same.

If those specs are accurate, then the only explanation for the L1 battery being twice as long is that half of that length is a non-battery spacer.

No wonder I couldn’t find the cell. It’s 10900 + charging circuit, probably closer to 101060. :person_facepalming:

What is 101060 ?

10 mm diameter 106.0 mm length.
