Well, it obviously has been made because it’s in the video, photo’s and it’s in Banggood’s store so I’d say the odds are good it will be produced en mass.
dunno what’s happening with this light but if I was designing it I would remove the middle LED, add 3 more XHP70.2s and have 8 21700 batteries. For me to even consider this light it’s gotta do 50000+. Also an 80 cri version would be nice
See, I don’t think there is much demand for the light as is. Maybe a year ago more people would be interested, but not now. This is probably one of the reasons it will not go into production.
Also the driver cost for such a high powered and dual purpose design might have priced it out of the profitable zone.
Mad max has connections with Astrolux. If he days it’s a dead design, it probably is.
This light was supposed to come out before acebeams x70 but it never did for some reason, then imalent went crazy and now we have 100k lumens flashlight so this seems not that needed anymore, but it looked interesting 2 years ago… time go by fast in flashlights, just because u dont release one doesnt mean competitors wont do something bigger and better before u are done…
G0OSE since there has been no real news since 2018 or so on this, the images in first post means nothing ,its just a prototype or 2 they did, but like jason said going into mass production with such big light is another story, ive yet too see that….
lets hope Lumintop will actually release the GT4, curious on the perfomance on that one.
