bummer. I got an email from them today, offering me to send a new head which I accepted but I also originally ordered a 3D light. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long…
I suggest you make it clear that you want an Astrolux S1 head with a 3D tint and that you do not want a substitute of any sort. If the S1 head really is out of stock someone might be tempted to send you something vaguely similar.
It still seems odd that the BG page shows the complete S1 in stock but CS says the head is out of stock. Maybe spares come from different repository. In the end, we just have to wait.

A brand new Astrolux S1 with 3D head arrived yesterday. Correct tint. Nice clean reflector. DOA but easily fixed by removing some detritus from under the tailcap retaining ring.
Almost three months since the original order but I’m grateful to various Bangood staff for finally sorting this out.
