Ι have just received the S42S.Very good,plenty of light,good temperature management.
I swapped the tube to a longer, plus a 30Q in it,and I am very satisfied. 
I think it is of better quality than the S41,which I also have.
The S42 runs four leds to begin with, correct? In one of those pics you show a single led on your mcpcb. Then in one of the finished pics I see you’re using the original optics. Are you running a single led with the original optics, or did you decide to keep the originals?
He was testing the driver/setup before assembly, I presume.
I like my S41 Copper head and 18650 tube. Muchly.
If I could get a ramping driver instead of 7 clicks.
It’d be near perfect.
Along with a Sofurn C8A/T. or Convoy L2 in other pocket
That S42 must be pretty good if higher quality than the S41
I’d like it’s side sw though.
