Note, the difference in test protocols had to do with the charge rates, not the discharge rates.

Differences in apparent capacities under different discharge rates was expected. What was unexpected was that charge rates would also have a significant effect.

Sorry, I did realize what you wrote (charge rate), but forgot to react on it.

I am not a specialist on cell chemistry, but I suspect that this could be causal for what you noticed.
Apart from that I agree with gauss163.
