Cheap LED Bulbs Die Quickly!

Is it AC or DC? What points are you measuring between? Are you able to measure dead-short current across whatever those two points are?

DC across the heat sink and the end if one of the LEDs. I don’t understand what you mean by dead short current ?

IIRC, you put the multimeter in amp mode and touch the two ends to whatever you measured.

Which end? If the heatsink is GND then no problem.

Even quality ones will fail, my e14 4W Osram brand bulb died after 2-years usage.
broken it, and the star works ok with a 9V battery (as expected)
Can not manage to get out the driver. the heat sink do not turn.
