Got it :+1: , very handy little module. Iāll get a few of those for sure.
I suppose this only works with drivers that use momentary switch (side switch). Driver is blocking charging current from going to LED when flashlight is off.
Maybe Iām to ignorant but I donāt see how this charging module would be connected in flashlights with standard tail switches.
There is a few ways to do it, driver with momentary switch, an extra wire going direclty to the battery something like shown below, a charger/ driver like the the one in the Eagle Eye X2R or if you use a driver with a low moon mode that will work too but not the best method as the light needs to be on while charging. Maybe some other ways too?
New guy here just wondering if you would ever make one of these to sell? I just started learning about modifying lights so I think Iām a few years away from any of these builds lol. Your stuff is awesome!
Canāt blame a guy for trying lol. I always seem to find the guys doing really cool stuff after everyone else so they are usually pretty busy or booked up. Thought I would give it a shot lol.
Hi mate thanks, welcome to BLF. I do sell stuff from time to time but making lights by hand for the purpose of selling would not be cost effective.
To give an idea I think I could make one of these for Ā£25 in parts and maybe six hours time, whatever thatās worth
Good to hear youāre getting into modding lights, lots of good guys here covering all areas :+1:
Thanks for the response! If you ever do make another one of these and are willing to sell please let me know! Your work is awesome canāt wait to see what you make next.
