I almost always use either the lowest or the highest. Lowest when it’s dark and I’m trying not to disturb others otherwise full blast

Same.

Except that I tend to gravitate towards high-powered pocket rockets with insufficient heat sinking. If I find the light getting too hot on turbo I’ll turn it to some intermediate mode.
