Only 1.2v batteries charlestt. But you should be able to use AAA rechargeables at 1.44v and AAA lithium primary @ 1.8v.

Looks like they’ve changed the LED to a 3B. So less yellow, more green?
Personally I was really happy with the 5A. Best tint I’ve come across for a while.
Got the cool white version for mine-love the tint. I’m no light expert, but I know I like it!
Ordered it with the EOSlamp, and I will say the eos is noticeably more yellow. Love the lil DQG, and really considering getting the ti version too. Does eat up o rings though, and the threads could be smoother. Super gritty 
…And it’s so cute and tiny. Love the styling-it’s perfect. It’s almost exactly the length of a vic classic. It’s hard to believe it could do anything with a battery in there, since it looks like the aaa is the same size, but it’s awesome. Beats the hell outta keychain lights. Hell-even got rid of the D2 on the keychain.
