If the Klarus XT1C would give 700lm on a 16350 3.7v how much lower would the lumens output be on a cr123a 3.0v?
I’m asking because I got like 40 cr123a’s laying arround that are collecting dust and this light would be perfect for my EDC needs.

Great deal bought one and on a cr123a it does 400lm and runs 40 minutes longer.

Can anyone recommend me some good 16340’s please.
16340’s are new to me and I know nothing of the current 16340 brands.
Heard that AW is pretty good but also expensive.
Saw some Meco brand 16340’s on BG that had 1200 mAh, is that even possible or is Meco the same for 16340’s that Ultrafire is for 18650’s?

Edit: found out that BG had Ultrafire 16340’s but had to drop the Ultrafire brand and renamed them Meco.
So yeah Meco is Ultrafire, so 1200 mAh is probably a lie.
Also heard there are fake AW 16340’s out there, I really wonder what 700 mAh cell Klarus sends with this flashlight.
If anyone knows please let me know.

I personally prefer Olight 650mAh protected 16340 because their size is closer to CR123. Lesser chance of having compatibility issue with majority of the lights of this format. For high output, I know couple of members prefer EFEST, AW, Windyfire IMR 16340.

I think I read something arround 1.2A, can you confirm please.

Edit: if it does 50min on 700mAh that means it has 0.84A right?

Also how about Eagletac 750mAh 1.5A and Keeppower 700mAh 1.2A?
Those are two brand I can get relatively cheap, like 3,75 and 4.75 euro’s and they are both protected.
I can get an AW 550mAh 4A but that one costs 6.95 and is unprotected.

Edit: I bought 4 Fenix ARB-L16 700mAh, they are protected but have the protection in the anode so they are not longer :slight_smile:
