Fasttech - interesting new products - Flashlights, chargers, batteries and DIY and knives - please no discussions.

I haven't notice the missing Made in Japan, before you made your post.
I got this information: Panasonic produce in China, too:
http://news.panasonic.com/press/news/official.data/data.dir/2012/07/en120717-2/en120717-2.html

Some other new products:
JKK18 1*Cree XM-L2 U2 1050LM 5-Mode Pure White LED Flashlight / Mobile Power Bank --> FT wrote: XM-L and 18350. The picture shows a XM-L2, other shops (where it cost a bit more, show it with unprotected Panasonic 18650). The power bank part is known from other flashlights. $35,50 ( if you use the coupon: BLF) my link - non aff-link

The 3 XM-L2 LED version : JKK35 3*Cree XM-L2 U2 2800LM 5-Mode is also available, but is cost a half $ more as in an other shop. $55,53 (5% less with BLF) my link.

Skull Styled Self-defense Protection Safety Pendant alloy material, available colors: silver, gold, grey (FT call it black): Depth 9.8 mm, height 71 mm, width 37 mm, product weight . 65 g- Price of each: $4,24 my link - non aff-link.

That JKK35 is an interesting light to me. I shared it in another thread before but nobody seems to be interested in it.

No love for xyz-fire batteries here - FT listed a few, but if not HKJ checked, it wouldn't be a good idea to buy these.

Other products - knives clone day :)

Authentic Christeeve Stainless Steel Folding Knife w/ Lanyard 70mm blade - Sebenza clone (without C. Reeve logo or photoshopped) made of 5CR15 steel for $12,49 - with a better blade steel it could be nice - maybe the Sanrenmu 710/7010 blade will fit. My link - non aff-link

SR SR288D Stainless Steel Folding Knife 60mm blade / linear lock / w/ clip - clone of the SRM T11 or Mantis Pit Boss. 440 steel $6,85 (the SRM cost $10,12), the blade and the handle have a fancy ornament. My link - non aff-link.

C81 Stainless Steel Folding Knife 80mm blade / linear lock / w/ clip - it is written blade steel: Stainless Steel CPM-S30, but I would not believe this. I think it is _Cr _Mo. Design looks like a Spyderco, but it shows no brands on it. $11,82 My link - non aff-link

Don't buy the AW IMR batteries of Fasttech! These are not genuine.

YF009 Stainless Steel Double Edged Throwing Knife (3 Pack) w/ carrying sheath / 193mm / black or silver. $8,59 My link - non aff-link
5303BK Stainless Steel Double Edged Throwing Knife (3 Pack) w/ carrying sheath / 160mm $7,69 My link - non aff-link

Not a knife or flashlight, but maybe some others like this, too.
GO14 Camera Icon Logo Sticker for GoPro - 6 stickers (2 of each size). Not only for the outdoor equipment, maybe for the laptop, car etc. . $2,06 My link - non aff-link

Yeah, but the shrinkable sleeves they come in might be. :stuck_out_tongue:

New listed: 2.5W Cree XR-E 280LM 3000-3200K Warm White LED Emitter (10-Pack) 3-3.6V / 700mA / on 20mm board. $7,31 (0,73$ for each is a good price, 5% less with BLF) my link - non aff-link

Since when CREE has these 2.5W XR-E? Are these new models?

They don’t look like XR-E to me. Probably imitations.

+1 although they look interesting and possible easy de dome by prying off that ring...

Looks like XR-C

+1

or… possibly it has cataracts.

XR-C (left) and XR-E (right)

The link and the pictures there, which was posted by Sirius looks similar (not a clear surface - looks matt / milky - I haven't any warm white LED).

FT listed a few more nice batteries fpor the users, which need more power in their flashlights or vapers: IMR of LG and Samsung (of course unprotected). Lik I posted before - fT has a airmail shipping service for li-ion batteries (with Sweden Post).

HKJ reviewed both LG a longer time ago. If you compare it with his great homepage, the 21865 is a little bit better (better discharge curve, more capacity) - and they are cheaper.
He wrote about both: This battery is one of the very good high current and high capacity battery types.

Authentic red LG LGDBHE21865 3.7V 2500mAh 18650 Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery 20A discharge, HKJ review, $5,38 each, my link - non aff-link
Authentic yellow LG LGDBHE41865 3.7V 2500mAh 18650 Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery 20A discharge, HKJ review, $5,60 each, my link - non aff-link

Two Samung batteries, one IMR and on well known usually li-ion 18650.
Authentic Samsung INR18650-25R 3.6V 2500mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery 20A discharge $5,82 each, my link - non aff-link.
Authentic Samsung ICR18650-26F - not an IMR - 3.7V 2600mAh, HKJ review, $4,06, my link - non aff-link.

Authentic Samsung ICR18650-30B 3.7V "3000mAh" - need a 4,35V charger for the full power (for example XTAR SP1, VP2). Not perfect for vapers (you will find some good cells in the post before), but for flashlightusers. Full charged they perform better (higher voltage graph) as the Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh if you want 1-3A. At 3,1Volt the Pana get better (but do you discharge your li-ion up to this level?). Use HKJ comparator. These cost under $5 each, Pana 3400mAh round about $8,50.

Price each: $4,91 (5% less with BLF). My link - non aff-link.
Here is the HKJ review about the cells: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/33106

More batteries. Sanyo 3500 mAh.

New Design with 9 XP-L: https://www.fasttech.com/products/1601/10014338/2418000

I ordered the 7*XP-L, because it looks like that every emiter has its own mcpcb.

The new kings look interesting… Have ordered a 3x and 4x.

Interesting that the 4x is cheaper than the 3x. Why would this be?

Wow that 9* XPL King worths every penny! It equals to buying 9 pieces of XP-L at $3.40 each, plus a host!

I love the new design and I wanted the 9* really bad - but all LEDs are alligned the same, so they will sit on a big single MCPCB - hard to reuse if you mod it to other LEDs.
But to be honest… I modded only one of my 3 Kings (And I don’t regret it - 12 Nichia 219 are beautiful), so I just bought the 9* as well :stuck_out_tongue:

$29.10 - that’s robbery.

same set of XPL king products are on DX also, 1-2$ more than FT (with BLF coupon)

edit: my order from DX shipped today (June 3th 2015).
