FF ROT 66 gen 2 Whats the update?

Fireflies eventually sent one to the third party lab for testing and he readjusted the spec afterwards.

Great test, I would like to know a few details please. I’m interested in the runtime test. Over 4000 lumens for a long time - it looks impressive, but I assume that cooling has been applied. Did you cool the flashlight with a fan during the runtime test, what was the air temperature? Did you measure the temperature of the flashlight during this test, is the data saved?
Thanks!

Wow noway this thing can maintain 8,000 lumens for 18 minutes. Also maintaining roughly 5000 lumens for over 2 hours seems impossible for the size and duration. Dont think 3 batteries can have that much energy or the driver can be that efficient. Even the X80GT with efficient driver and 18x XHP50.2 cannot do that. I would like to understand whats going on with that graph.

Even more questions arise when comparing these two graphs.

Why such a huge difference. It may be worthwhile to conduct testing under the same conditions and with the same settings for thermal monitoring, then these graphs will have practical meaning.

No way the ROT66 gen 2 can hold 4000 lumens continuous. Even the larger sodacans sporting highly efficient XHP70.2 emitters can barely sustain 4000 lumens without heat problems. I’m guessing the XPLs can stay at around 2500 lumens without too much heat.
