You mean for changing the battery? It can be - both the tail cap and head will screw off. I guess I should wait to hear from JohnnyMac to see if it will work. I just think the brass would look sick with the candy apple red color.
If it changes from the top then it should work.
Well I also have to make sure JMac won't be offended that I'm messing with his art work....
...That is if Match will make one for me. 
It will come off with a blow torch and go back on with liquid nitrogen!
you can change the battery through the head. I plan on doing that on some of mine in the future and no I would not be offended if Match made you one of his brass tail caps.
