I agree — that’s a crazy price. I expect in time it’ll drop to a much more reasonable expected GANZO price.

It seems many chinese knife manufacturers (Ruike, Civivi, Stedemon, …) are targeting this price range now

If I’ve read it right it’s a steel frame lock knife, seems so with 120g for a 20.5cm knife.

So… why is there a lockbar insert?

Yeah, they’re trying to bust out of the budget domain. But it’s not going to be like Toyota making Lexus, I’m afraid. Much harder battle.

I’m glad I’m done, though. Got 4 nice locking knives, the most expensive being a discontinued Spyderco. I absolutely do not need any more and my anti-clutter resolution of 2020 blocks me from buying more. So if GANZO et all want to raise prices? Power to ’em!

Now even Boker sells knives with their “interpretation” of the AXIS-lock.

This is really somthing for the BM-fanboys at BladeForums

And wow, it has a tip-down clip with this lock, what a smart move, how come BM didn’t think about that?!?

I know lefties need love but I hate the steel plate fillers. They look terrible and line up strangely with the center cut on the G10 here. Between that and the thick blade stock, I have to pass.

I feel with you. They should just use a piece of the same G10 instead, it’s tough enough for that.
About bladestock I’d wait for reviews. My work edc’s blade is not thin as an Opinel but right behind the cutting edge it’s around 0.4mm.
It came scary sharp and cuts like a dream.
