Has anyone ever put an XHP70.2 or 50.2 in a Manker U21? I think the U21 could handle the heat well and that great reflector should still have decent throw.

So I ended up ordering a L2 with an XPL Hi (only a bit more expensive and i want to see what it does stock).
From KD I ordered a XHP50.2 5000K and the FX6-5A driver.
I’m planning to run the XHP50.2 on the stock driver first, if it also runs at 3A, should give me good lummens already.
So for 26650, are the new LiitoKala 5000mAh 20A still good? or was that the previous batch?
Both Blue and Black Liitokalas are good.

He probably meant to say that he got 20.000mAh (4 x 5.000) in total for 16E.

The Convoy L2 and C8 are mentioned in this thread.
I noticed the L2 when it had the almost 50% discount sale in BG a few weeks back.
There’s the Convoy L2 with XP-L Hi, and there’s the L2 with XM-L2.
With the bigger-sized reflector of the L2, obviously it will out-throw the C8 assuming the same XP-L Hi.
But what if the L2 is outfitted with just the XM-L2, compared to an Convoy C8 that’s using XP-L Hi.
How would the throw of the 2 compare?
(Is there an estimated max throw distance in meters for the Convoy L2 with XP-L Hi and with XM-L2? The product specs don’t list them, so I’m wondering if anyone has made some tests for the 2, and also comparing with the Convoy C8)

max throw distance for (assuming the stock drivers, and the cool-white tints for closer comparison)
Convoy L2 with XP-L Hi = ??? meters
Convoy L2 with XM-L2 = ??? meters
Convoy C8 with XP-L Hi = ??? meters
Convoy C8 with XM-L2 = ??? meters
A domed led like the xml will always be more floody, so at short range you’ll have more light but you’ll loose intensity at the long range and the xpl will outperform an xml for the long range (throw). No matter if its c8 or L2
