"Group Buy" Interest: Q8 MCPCB for Luxeon V/SST40/XML/XHP50 Emitters

Do you know how much a board with (4000K) Luxeon Vs on it would be? Am I right in thinking they’d work fine with the stock driver? Thanks.

At least one person has already done it with the stock mcpcb so it works. This just makes it possible to do it properly without an extra difficult reflow as well as supporting XHP50s (with different hardware)

Probably 20€ with LEDs soldered on MCPCB.

I have an answer from dale: He has no spare battery-tubes for sale. But If we have a demand of 200 pcs, he can produce a batch.

Thats not the answer I wanted to get. That means, we will not get a ready to use 2S2P tube for XHP50.2.

When can we purchase led4power?

LED4Power’s sale thread, where he mentions that the dual boards are on his site.

I don't have washers+screws in stock yet, I hope I will have some in a few days.

From now on, shipping calculation is based on weight, over 50€ order registered shipping is available with 2€ discount included. Also, for heavy packages there is Premium packet option available for most EU countries, with good prices.

I forgot to add, these bronze springs could be interesting for use in Q8:

They have relatively low resistance without bypassing (11mOhm), so they can handle 6-7A without problem, on the other side they should help to add some resistance and limit current from DD fet driver when used with Luxeon V, which has lower Vf then XP-L.

Curious to see the amps pulled with the new board. Already ordered 2 thanks led4power!

Roughly how much lumens pump out with 4 XHP50.2?

10000 lumens OTF with the same amount of heat 4 x XPLs do at 6000lms OTF.

…but with considerably less throw.

If haikelite ever pays me I will have to get me a set.

you are definitely a great value to flashlight companies but we prefer you on our side rather with profit companies

Yep. If they don’t pay you, I will never buy a Haikelite product every again. Keep us updated.
