Seeing that there’s quite a few Malaysian here, would like to ask if it’s ok to leave a Li-Ion flashlight in the car? Any worries of it venting/bursting into flames due to heat?
My dad leaves a double cell flashlight under his seat. so far no problems

yeap, in a jetbeam mt-g2 light. forgot the model name but no problems for the whole year… So I guess not problem. It doesn’t get very hot under the seat tho

Now the question is, how hot does it get in the car (measured by ambient temperature) and also how hot does it get if the battery is left under the sun (either exposed or in a battery tube) on a dashboard…? Anyone?
