Help me find a night stand light

Out of the price range but an EagleTac D25A Clicky meets your needs.

You can use it as a nightlight (1/2 lumen) but in a fraction of a second, go to 110 lumens just by tightening the head.

All total it has 6 illumination levels.

It also has strobe and such, but they are well hidden.

When you need a really good night stand light with a very low mode, take a look at this https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10003046/1227900-x-power-spirit-ha-iii-cree-xp-g-r5-3-mode-115-lume

it’s like the Thrunite T10, but from FastTech, so it means no shipping fees for you.

Really useful firefly mode, 0,09 lumens. You can use it at night, and will not wake up other people.

Also, no useless strobe modes, tailstand, very smooth twisty, well regulated, etc…

The mode spacing it nice, but it’s a bit expensive for a night stand light. Not sure why this would cost more than any of my Convoys when it’s a fraction of the size and output. Not to mention, it’s using a first gen xpg. Also, they probably should have picked a better sample to show off the contact board… it looks pretty beat up. I know I wouldn’t be getting that exact one, but it doesn’t give me much confidence to expect anything different.

To be below the $ 15 dollar range, probally a SK68 clone or simmilar light, and swap in the 7880 1.5v, 20-mode driver with moonlight:
http://www.dx.com/p/3w-5w-20-mode-regulated-circuit-board-for-flashlights-7880

its the only option i can think of for that price range, able to run of a single 1.5 volt cell, and still have a moonlight mode.
